Summary of the Project
This UNFPA-funded project implements a comprehensive strategy targeting gender-based violence (GBV), protection from sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA), and sexual and reproductive health (SRH).
- Activities include awareness sessions, Women and Girls Friendly Spaces, financial aid for GBV survivors, PSS, and life skills
- Distribution of reusable sanitary pads, establishment of referral pathways, and capacity-building training.
- Support for women-to-women groups, adolescent peer discussions, maternity waiting rooms, and delivery rooms.
Dignity Kits distribution and survey on GBV-IE and SRH in specified Somali Region woredas.
Strengthening protection/GBV coordination and review meetings for effective collaboration and monitoring
