On December 14th, 2023, an important meeting took place at PAPDA head office between Project Management Specialists from USAID’s Office of Humanitarian Assistance (OHA) and PAPDA representatives. The primary focus of the meeting was to introduce PAPDA to USAID, provide background information on intervention areas, and showcase the different projects undertaken thus far.
Introduction:
The meeting commenced with an introduction by Mr. Abdulkadir from PAPDA, setting the tone for the meeting and its significance. Following this, the USAID participant gave background information about USAID/OHA and the purpose of their visit.
Presentation by PAPDA:
Mr. Kumela, representing PAPDA, delivered an in-depth presentation on the organization’s background, projects done so far, intervention areas, capacity, and overall financial status of PAPDA. The presentation aimed to showcase PAPDA’s contribution to developmental and humanitarian initiatives and set the stage for discussing potential partnership opportunities.
