Weekly Update#4: September 5, 2024

This week, we made significant strides in our ongoing projects! We completed a cash feasibility and market assessment report, which we shared with IOM, and successfully finished beneficiary identification and registration in five targeted Kebeles. The IOM support team also conducted a field visit, assessing our intervention areas and engaging with local stakeholders. We’re pleased to announce that Awash Bank has been selected as our Financial Service Provider for the MPCA program, thanks to their proven experience and capacity. Looking ahead, we’re gearing up for House-to-House independent beneficiary verification and finalizing our agreement with the FSP. Despite challenges like flooding from the Shabale River and difficult road conditions, we’re committed to overcoming these obstacles and continuing our mission to support the communities we serve.
