Update No: 1- ToT Training Empowers University Focal Persons for Transitional Justice Project
PAPDA successfully arranged a two-day in-person ToT session for university focal points on April 19-20, 2023, in Bishoftu. The session was led by HHI and a co-investigator from Addis Ababa University, and it was attended by a total of 12 university focal points.
During the opening remarks, the PAPDA executive director warmly welcomed the focal persons from various universities and introduced the training’s purpose, as well as an overview
of the project’s objectives and activities.
Over the course of the two-day ToT training, several topics were covered, including the roles of project partners, Research background, goals, and relevance and the data collection process, and questionnaire testing, among others.
The training supports to establishment of robust communication channels among project team members, focal persons, and collaborating partners for the successful implementation of the survey.
