CHS Alliance and PAPDA recently held a meeting on August 7, 2024, at PAPDA’s meeting hall. It was a productive discussion to enhance their joint efforts in addressing sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (SEAH) within the NGO sector. This meeting focused on joint potential collaboration under the SEAH Harmonized Reporting Scheme (HRS), which aims to improve transparency and accountability in SEAH reporting.

The partnership will leverage PAPDA’s data collection expertise and CHS Alliance’s analytical capabilities to create a harmonized SEAH data collection and reporting framework, prioritizing non-identifiable data to protect the organization’s privacy. This initiative will improve how SEAH incidents are reported and used to help prevention and response efforts, setting a new standard for accountability in the sector.

Both organizations are unwavering in their commitment to upholding global data protection standards, ensuring that all shared data remains secure and confidential. The impending formal agreement will signify a significant leap towards a safer and more accountable development sector environment, reassuring all stakeholders.
