PAPDA has distributed a total of 2,860 dignity kits, provided by UNFPA, to women and girls affected by drought and conflict in the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples’ Region (SNNPR). These kits were distributed in the Konso zone, specifically in the Segen and Karat Zuriya  woredas.

The primary objective of this distribution was to address the basic needs of these individuals, preserving their dignity and fostering their well-being during times of crisis or emergencies. Dignity kits typically consist of crucial items to assist individuals, particularly women and girls, in maintaining personal hygiene and dignity in challenging circumstances.
